Springfield, N.J. (Nov. 19, 2004) - Inspire Your World, the first and a very new consumer magazine on volunteering and philanthropy, has won the prestigious bronze Eddie Award for best regional publication.

The Eddie is a much coveted and highly regarded award for magazine editorial excellence. IYW is one of 314 publications that were considered for an Eddie Award during the most recent presentations and each of the staff and contributors are of course honored to have received this recognition bestowed upon the new magazine, which debuted only in April 2004 and has published only its first four issues.

The winners of the Eddie Award were announced during a gala ceremony at the New York Hilton last week. Angela Harrington, president and chief executive officer of Harrington Communications, served as the editor-in-chief of those first four issues of the publication and was honored to appear at the awards ceremony with IYW's publisher, Gary Schneider.

When the magazine debuted in April, MediaPost's Media Magazine placed Inspire Your World in the same category as O: The Oprah Magazine, Reader's Digest and People magazines.

Since its debut, IYW has grown into a distinguished, highly regarded national publication. Harrington Communications is honored by the recognition bestowed by the Eddie Award and looks forward to new growth opportunities to pursue and further the worthy goal of advancing corporate philanthropy.
