Angela Harrington, CEO and President
Angela Harrington is an Emmy Award-winning journalist and producer whose work has been featured in The New York Times,
The Star-Ledger and on PBS. Angela is a leader in developing strategic communications campaigns that include alliances with prominent corporations
and non-profit organizations. Angela has strong editorial and technical communications skills across a wide range of issue areas, and is experienced
in all aspects of print and electronic media. She has authored articles and spoken on topics such as crisis communications, how to build a socially
responsible company, technology, automotive retailing, mobile communications, entertainment, lifestyle, interior and home decor, travel and tourism
and health care. Harrington Communications is a product of Angela's success at providing information creatively and strategically.
Angela is a member of the New York New Media Association, Business for Social Responsibility - New York chapter, the National Association of Women
Business Owners, the Public Relations Society of America, national and New Jersey chapters, the New Jersey Technology Council, New Jersey Business and
Industry Association and the James Beard Foundation.
Carrie ChaversWills, Vice President, Marketing/Business Development
Carrie ChaversWills is an award-winning marketing strategist specializing in corporate sales promotion and marketing as well as nonprofit organizational development. At the start of her career, Carrie spent more than 10 years planning multi-million dollar promotional campaigns for a Fortune 500 cosmetics company. Her division supported the company's sales incentive and brand recognition programs. Carrie then formed her own marketing consulting group dedicated to developing alliances between corporations and nonprofit organizations in addition to promoting women's economic development, arts and entertainment and adult education initiatives. Carrie is responsible for heading Harrington Communications' internal business development and marketing strategies group.
Carrie holds a masters degree in media studies from New School University in New York City and advance work in international studies from the University of Lagos, West Africa and New York University.
Mark D. Phillips, Vice President, New Media and Digital Marketing
Mark D Phillips worked as an international photojournalist for more than 20
years. He has photographed world leaders, major events, and sports for the
top publications throughout the industry. In 1992, Mark was Sports
Photographer of the Year and has one of his images hanging in the Baseball
Hall of Fame.
Mark changed his career in 1994, taking digital imaging and the Internet to
corporate clients with PHORUM, a digital marketing company at the start of
the Computer revolution. Since that time, he has embraced technology and is
an expert at bringing high tech solutions to the marketing industry.
Phillips is married to Andrea Peyser, award winning columnist for The New
York Post. He is the proud dad of 6-year-old Eliza Rose.
John Harrington, Vice President, Editorial and Media Communications
John Harrington is an award-winning 20-year newspaper veteran with extensive experience in financial news and business reporting.
His work has been featured in Crain's New York Business, were he served as research director and assistant managing editor and supervised Crain's daily Web content.
His department produced the Crain's Book of Lists, weekly stock columns and daily Web reports. John served in management positions at the Home News Tribune
and the Asbury Park Press and was a sports writer covering professional and scholastic sports prior to pursuing a career in business journalism.
